Marianne is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of experience and training include trauma, anxiety, depression, relational issues, grief counseling, parenting/parent-child issues, substance abuse, perinatal mood disorders, stress reduction/management, life transitions, and coping with chronic medical issues
Marianne enjoys working with all ages including small children. She believes in partnering with her clients and utilizes a strengths-based approach recognizing you as an authority on your life and as an active partner in the counseling process while tailoring techniques to match your needs and your personality.
Marianne believes that every person possesses the solutions they are searching for but just needs someone to help support them through the process. Her role as a therapist is that of a companion to help you find the answers that work for you and your life. She will challenge you and your thoughts by asking questions and offering varying perspectives while at the same time respecting you as the expert on your own life. She provides support, not judgement, as you work towards finding your own answers.
