Founder/CEO/Therapist
Deciding to start the counseling process can feel overwhelming. For many people, the emotions and experiences that are causing suffering have existed for such a long time that it’s difficult to imagine something different. For others, something unexpected and unplanned has overwhelmed their existing resources, and what was a temporary setback has moved from days to weeks or even months. For others still, counseling has been a familiar companion and it feels hopeless to have to start over again.
However you find yourself to this point, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
As a therapist, my role is to provide a confidential and safe environment in which you experience empathy, authenticity, and respect. I provide therapy services for adolescents and adults, meeting with clients most often in a one-on-one setting. My typical clients are those who are experiencing a variety of personal concerns, such as healing from traumatic experiences or grief, working through relationship problems or family stress, struggling with identity issues or mental health concerns, engaged in adoption or foster care, and much more. I am culturally sensitive with specializations in EMDR, CBT, and narrative techniques. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, perfectionism, depression, trauma, sexual and gender identity, grief, pornography, spiritual concerns, self-harm, and relationship issues. I also specialize in providing therapy for other therapists.
